To wrap up this unit we will be using a scaffolded lesson. You will have until the due date to complete all required videos, foldables, and level activities. You goal is to achieve 50 pts worth of activities. There is one required activity in level 3 (the station lab-20pts) that everyone will complete. You will choose the other 30 pts from the assignments given!

Change of State- States of Matter Foldable

Physical & Chemical Properties/Changes Foldable
--Instructions --Take a sheet of construction paper and find the center horizontally and vertically where you have four rectangles with flaps to cover them. Write physical properties and chemical properties on top two flaps and physical changes and chemical changes on bottom two flaps. Use the document below and cut on all dotted and solid lines. Glue the appropriate picture or comment under the correct flap! |
Mixture and Solution Foldable
--Instructions-- Take a sheet of construction paper and fold in half horizontally. Fold the bowl titled mixture and the one titles solutions. Tape these bowls one on each page. Tape the mixture and solution information on the bottom of the bowl. Make sure you write that mixtures are heterogeneous (chunks) and homogeneous (no chunks) AND the solutions are homogeneous mixtures. I would fold down the top of the construction paper over my bowls to hold in slips of paper you separate based on knowledge of mixtures and solutions. |
When all material is complete then take the following quizzes!!
